FAQs | LoadOff Laundry Pickup & Delivery NYC

Question 1

How does LoadOff work?

Accepted Answer

It's simple — schedule a pickup online, leave your laundry bag outside your door at the agreed time, and we'll pick it up, wash and fold everything to your preferences, then deliver it back to you. Most orders are returned within 24–48 hours.

Question 2

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We currently serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Enter your zip code on the contact page to confirm availability in your specific neighborhood.

Question 3

Do I need to sign a contract?

Accepted Answer

No contracts, ever. You can schedule one-time pickups or set up a recurring plan — weekly or bi-weekly — and cancel or pause anytime.

Question 4

How do I schedule my first pickup?

Accepted Answer

Head to our contact page, fill out the form with your address and preferred pickup window, and we'll confirm your slot. It takes about two minutes.

Question 5

Can I specify how I want my laundry washed?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can set your preferences for detergent type, fragrance, water temperature, dryer heat, and fold style. We follow your instructions on every order.

Question 6

Do you handle delicates and special items?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer a delicate care service for silk, wool, and other sensitive fabrics. Just flag these items when you schedule and we'll treat them with extra care.

Question 7

Do you separate baby and children's clothing?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we keep baby and children's items separate from the rest of the household laundry and wash them with fragrance-free, gentle detergent by default.

Question 8

What if something is damaged or lost?

Accepted Answer

We take great care with every item, but if something goes wrong, contact us right away. We'll work with you to make it right.

Question 9

How is pricing calculated?

Accepted Answer

We charge per bag. Standard bags are $39.95 and family-size bags are $64.95. Recurring plans (weekly or bi-weekly) come with a discounted per-bag rate.

Question 10

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay. Add-ons like delicate care or same-day service are listed clearly on our pricing page.

Question 11

Can I pause or cancel my recurring plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anytime. Log into your account or contact us and we'll pause or cancel your plan — no questions asked, no cancellation fees.

Question 12

What are your pickup and delivery windows?

Accepted Answer

We offer morning and evening windows to fit around your schedule. You'll see available slots when you book, and we'll send a confirmation with your exact window.

Question 13

Do I need to be home for pickup or delivery?

Accepted Answer

No. Most customers leave their bag outside their door or with their doorman. Just let us know your building's setup when you schedule.

Question 14

How long does it take to get my laundry back?

Accepted Answer

Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours. Same-day service is available in select areas for an additional fee.
